An October calendar went home in courier--this month through March, your child can earn a personal pan pizza from Pizza Hut for participating in the reading program Book It. Please initial the days your child reads for 20 minutes. The goal is to read at least 5 days each week. The October calendar is due November 4. It will be used as a project grade, so encourage your child to take good care of it.
Eagle Trek is ongoing! Keep up the good work! I see that our class is working hard to support the PTA and Foundation--I read that we are tied with Mrs. Kim's class, with 43% participation! Remember, the big day is Oct. 3, the day we wear our t-shirts and walk! Keep trekking!
